Roots grown for six years – The active principles reach maturity after a certain period. An older root will be of better quality. A plant is considered to have reached its maximum level of development after being grown for four years. Roots harvested sooner than that contain inadequate quantities of active principles. ORTIS only uses roots which have been grown for six years.
