Organic plants and vegetables are grown without the use of artificial fertilisers and pesticides. For fifty years, ORTIS has only used traditionally-grown ginseng. ORTIS selects its suppliers on site and carries out regular checks on them based on its own standards, which are even more stringent than official standards. ORTIS has also identified an organic quality ginseng. ORTIS ginseng meets the official standards, according to which the quality of each harvest has to be checked on site. That’s why ORTIS ginseng bears the official French organic label, the “AB” (Organic Farming France) label.
